Research and Professional Experiences

1. Registered Mechanical Engineer at Nepal Engineering Council

  • NEC number: 6767 Mechanical 'A'

    2. A model for locating optimized location for EV charging station for public transport network inside Kathmandu valley.

The computational approach for finding the best optimal location for installing charging stations on various routes of Kathmandu valley for charging the public electric buses, taking into consideration of various parameters like traffic density, number of buses, number of trips, number of stops, electricity cost rate and initial installation cost.

  • My final year project team with our supervisor Dr.Khem Gyanwali and external supervisor Er.Sagar Mani Gnawali

  • 3. Optimization for EV Charging Station for Kathmandu valley

This research is being done under supervision of Dr Khem Gyanwali, Campus Chief of Thapathali Campus. This research is being done under the umberella of energy systems research laboratory of Thapathali Campus. The research studies the electric bus choices and the optimization of the placements of charging stations inside different routes of Kathmandu valley along with the extension to four major cities of Nepal in future.

    4.Internship at Solar energy company

During my engineering internship at a solar company, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from feasibility studies to design and installation. One of the highlights of my internship was being able to work on a project to improve the efficiency of solar panels. This involved analyzing data and coming up with recommendations to optimize the performance of the panels. In addition to hands-on work, I also had the opportunity to attend various pieces of training to expand my knowledge and skills in the field of solar energy. Overall, my internship at the solar company was a valuable learning experience that has helped me to better understand the industry and the various aspects of solar energy development. .
